Adult care options growing (The Indianapolis Star)
Despite the national recession, one local industry is maturing -- and growing. Maryland-based Active Day recently opened an adult day center on the Southside -- its third in Indianapolis and sixth in Indiana -- and plans to open a seventh in Merrillville in 2009. Active Day is one of more than a dozen adult day-care providers, both nonprofit and for-profit, operating in the metro area.
